A much needed update...and a huge birthday suprise for me!

I am a blog slacker! I haven't updated my blog since June. A lot has happened in the past five months at the White household. We have bought a house, had a baby shower, a wedding, and the biggest news.... A BABY!

To start in chronological order, Reed and I bought a nice little house out in the San Tan area. We love the area, a lot of shopping and other attractions close by. We had to do a bit of fixing it up but now it's brand new and we are happy with it!

BEFORE

AFTER

On July 17th I had my baby shower. It was a great day. Thank you to all of my family and friends that were able to make it and also to those of you who helped put it together. The party was amazing and Mollie Mae scored big time! She will definitely be one of the best dressed little girls Arizona has ever seen. I will Post pictures from that day once I find them sorry! :(

After the baby shower came my little brothers wedding! Jarrett got married to a beautiful girl named Kristin! We love her and are so glad to have her as part of our family. Jarrett is very lucky! :) Congrats to you both!

About 3 weeks after the wedding I got a huge birthday surprise! Mollie Mae White decided to come to us two weeks early. She arrived August 21st 2009 ( MY BIRTHDAY! ) Yes! We share the same birthday. It was the best birthday present I've ever received. Reed and I are so thankful for her. We love her so much and are enjoying watching her grow and change everyday. She is such a blessing and we are two very proud parents.

These two pictures are of me about two weeks before I popped! I was ready to be done. She was so low I could barely walk.

I will be updating much more very soon!

Its been a while....

I haven't posted in a few months now so I thought I would try to give a brief White family update!

Since I last posted Reed and I have moved back home to Arizona, Reed has started a new job, and I have continued to grow bigger and bigger. Oh and we found out the gender of our little one!!!

Well, Reed is now working for company out of Phoenix called paychexs. We have been so blessed to have found this job at this time. It has been keeping Reed extremely busy but he's loving it!

The biggest news we have received this year so far is definitely the news that we are having a baby GIRL!!! We can't wait to meet this little angel! I'm so excited to finally meet her. I hope she knows how much I already love her!

As promised I have posted a few prego pictures of me (I have been trying to get around having to post these...sorry...I just feel huge!). The pictures below are of me at 27 weeks or 6 months and 3 weeks pregnant. Only 13 weeks to go!!!

Rocco's disappointment...our BIG surprise!

It's true! Reed and I are EXPECTING our first little one! Rocco, as you can see, is a little put out but he's coming around to the idea! Most of our family and friends have already heard the news, but I thought I'd post it for the future blog book. :) Sorry, I tried to blow up the poem the best I could. This is what Rocco sent out after he heard the news! Click on the picture to blow it up and read!

The future little White is due in early September! We are both excited for this next step. Thank you to all of our family and friends for the well-wishes and support.

HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!!!

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE...

Sorry I had to title this post that. I had that Beatles song in my head all day February 14th.
Well, another Valentine's Day has come and gone. Reed and I had a great V-day. Our Valentine's weekend started out in Park City. Reed took me up there to go to the outlet mall. However, Reed is the only one who ended up getting anything. Our actual Valentine's Day was spent lounging around the house making cookies and homemade pizza. After the cookies Reed was nice enough to agree to see the movie of my choice, which was "He's just not that into you." He was such a good sport. The movie wasn't great but it was just nice to spend time alone with my hubby! I love you Reed...I know I haven't been myself lately and I'm thankful that you are so kind, patient, and understanding with me. Thank you for the beautiful flowers and for catering to my every want over Valentine's weekend. You're my best friend and I'm so grateful for you and for the love you give me.

Oh one more piece of news....On Valentine's Day my little brother, Jarrett, and his FIANCE Kristin, got ENGAGED! I can't believe my little brother is grown up enough to be getting married. But he is and we are thankful it's to such a sweet and loving girl like Kristin. Congrats you two!

Along with my brothers engagement I want to recognize one of my oldest friends, Stacy, she too got engaged Valentine's Day. Congrats to her and Steve. I'm so happy for you and just know you'll be a beautiful bride! I can't wait.

Weekend Fun!

This past weekend Reed and I had a chance to spend time with friends and family! Friday night, after much begging, Reed agreed we could go see Bride Wars. We had dinner at Joe Bandito's (which is excellent Mexican food here in Utah...something hard to find) with the Halls and Pittas and then it was on to the movie! The movie was really cute but definitely a girl movie. I actually felt kind of bad for dragging the boys with us but they were really good sports about it and I think they found parts of the movie entertaining. :)

Saturday our neighbors the Shakespears had a group over for homemade donuts and hot chocolate! The donuts were SO yummy! Great job Bridget. And of course when a group of us get together we have to break out the games...which seem to always get a little competitive. We played pictionary...girls vs. boys! Unfortunately, the girls didn't win this one but I'm not completely sure the boys were playing fair. :) We'll get our revenge next time!

Later that night the REAL competition started. A few of us stuck around and decided to have a dance dance revolution dance competition. Reed kick all of our butts! Who knew Reed was a dance dance expert! Way to to babe!

We decided to team up and try it together!

NEW YEARS AND THE DOG PARK

On New Years Eve Reed and I decided to take Rocco to his first dog park! He loved it! He competely forgot about his parents and was running around with the biggest smile! :)

Rocco and Gunnar

We had a fairly low key New Years. The first half was spent playing games with Reed's family. The last half we ended up at my friend Tanya, and her boyfriend Brett's, apartment.

Thank you to our families for the wonderful Christmas memories! We love you all and miss you all terribly. We'll be home soon. Happy New Year!

VEGAS BOWL

Our Christmas break started a little early this year. BYU was once again invited to attended the Las Vegas Bowl. We arrived in Vegas on Tuesday the 16Th. We had almost an entire week to spend in Vegas. The team is kept fairly busy but we still managed to find sometime to play.

Our first night in Vegas

Our friends Tyler and Jessica

Tyler, Jessica, Me, and Reed after the Stomp out Loud Show.

Reed LOVED Stomp out loud. Reed is SO musically talented that this show was right up his alley! After the show Reed and Tyler tried banging on things to mimic what they had just seen. It was a fun show and we had a really nice time.

Random Vegas pictures of Reed and I playing around...I wanted to try on the helmet.

Fremont Street experience

Before the game on Saturday I met up with one of my oldest friends, Deanna. We lost touch for about 10 years but reunited just after I got married. It was great to meet her for lunch and catch up!

Pre-game show...David Hasslehoff sang the National Anthem! HAHA!

My two mothers! I just love them!

My mom and Me, with my mother and father-in-law watching the game

Unfortunately, BYU didn't win their bowl game but they had an amazing year anyway! Good Luck next year Cougars!
